Just when I arrived in Melbourne, the global economic crises has crushed the local architecture- and construction-industry... that's what they call bad luck. Architectural offices that had 5-10 jobs available 2 months ago and couldn't find anybody, have now thrown out 10 or 20 people at the same time. The board of architects estimates that over the last 2 weeks, some 250 people related to the architectural profession, have lost their jobs. Just when I am really running out of money and looking for a job... bad bad luck. So, now I am overthinking my options: continue travelling to New Zealand on find backpackerswork there (on a farm or something) or finding a 'normal' job in Melbourne (in shop or restaurant). We'll see what happens.. but I can tell you it is no fun!

Ik had nogal wat in te halen wat betreft jou verhalen. Ik heb er weer van genoten, en de foto's zijn echt geweldig! Geniet ervan.
Hier gaat alles zijn gangetje zoals dat altijd gaat. Tim groeit als kool en slurpt de ene na de andere fles leeg. 's Nachts slaapt hij lekker door, super dus!

Dit is inderdaad "bad luck". Ik hoop dat je een baantje kan vinden. Hou ons op de hoogte.
Hier is het weer grauw. Vallende bladeren, regen en mist. Lijkt wel herfst.
Marieke had ook bad luck. Breekt haar arm op 2 plekken tijdens haar 1e skiles.Nu is ze vaak bij ons.
Vincent en Charlotte gaan waarschijnlijk jou achterna. Willen ook een reis maken voor enkele maanden.
Met ons gaat het goed. Ik geniet van mijn wereldreis achter de p.c. en de foto`s. Wat zitten er prachtige bij.

Hey Bas! Endlich schreibst Du mal wieder. Jetzt habe ich wieder meine 5 Minuten Kurzurlaub während der Arbeit. Juhu.
Es tut mir so leid, daß Du so unmittelbar von der wirtschaftlichen Situation betroffen bist! Halt die Ohren steif! Wenn es ganz eng wird, setz ich mich auf die Strasse und singe. Die Menschen werden bestimmt eine Menge Geld zahlen, daß ich die Klappe halte;) Bussi

he basman, daar ook al weer? jeff is ook al economisch vluchteling, maar is in amsterdam nu aan de bak gekomen..kom maar weer snel deze kant op dan..
